A hotel on the Las Vegas Strip will put you right in the heart of the action 24/7. But don't let that dissuade you from considering hotels near the strip, away from it or downtown. All Las Vegas Nevada hotels will try to cater to your every need, desire and wish. Only some will cater to your budget. Discount Las Vegas hotels are not a thing of the past, and never will be as long as Vegasrooms is around. Start by getting the lay-of-the-land: examine the Las Vegas Strip Map to get a sense of where hotels are relative to the strip. From there you can drill-in and interactively examine individual hotel street maps. Some people only want to visit the strip, enjoy themselves at a show, nightclub or restaurant, but return to a more quiet, and possibly more sane environment for rejuvenation. If you want quiet, you're only going to find it in your room, unless you stay somewhere well away from the strip. Otherwise, take quiet off your list of requirements. By no stretch of the imagination can Las Vegas casino hotels be characterized as "quiet."

Non-casino hotels

Non-casino hotels are located in all parts of Las Vegas. You can find them and other hotels, motels or inns that are in close proximity to the airport, downtown or further away. In the suburbs you can find hotels adjacent to golf courses, which range in quality from premier high-end resorts to budget-priced hotels, motels and Inns. Some of these are condominium-style properties with kitchens and patios.

Kid-friendly hotels

It's not difficult to find a hotel that is kid-friendly, and since most of the casino-hotels have all the added attractions that include large pools, lazy rivers, arcades, rides, bowling alleys, movie theaters and restaurants, there is something for everyone.
